Today we are in Poipu, in the south of Kauai. Once again, the weather is gorgeous. We rent some snorkel gear from Nukomoi Surf shop, and we head to Poipu Beach Park. It's pretty, but full of tourists. We snorkelled for a bit. I didn't see anything interesting, so I came back to lay in the sun. Beth ended up seeing a Sea Turtle! The sun was getting hotter, so we decided to check out another beach – Mahaulepu – which was hidden at the end of a long dirt road, seemingly in the middle of nowhere!

We hiked the Kalalau Trail, on the Na Pali Coast, which took 2 hours to drive to, and 2.5 hours to hike. The sights along this trail are unlike anything I've ever seen. The air is so fresh, it actually smells like fresh baked bread!

We are unbelievably sore from surfing! The ribs hurt the most- rather unexpectedly!
We start the morning off by packing up our stuff, as we're leaving Oahu and heading to Kauai, the Garden Isle.
